WHAT:     Join Holiday World & Splashin' Safari president Will Koch as he publicly “fires up” Kima Bay for the first time. This $1.7 million Splashin' Safari waterplay attraction features seven water slides plus more than 100 water-play elements, including more than 125 water jets.

Next we’ll head up to Holiday World for a $20,000 check presentation from Will’s mom, Pat, to Pam Kirk of the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center as part of the park’s 16th Annual Play Day for children with disabilities. On Friday, Holiday World is open only to these very special guests.

 WHO:       Will Koch will be available at Kima Bay (10:30 – 11:00 am CDT) to talk about the new attraction and the new season.  Pat Koch and the Rehab Center’s Pam Kirk will be available at Star Spangled Carousel (11:15 – 11:45 am CDT) for the check presentation and to talk about Play Day.

 WHEN:      Friday, May 9, 2008.   Please check in at the Holiday World Marketing Office by 10:20 am CDT on Friday morning. You will be escorted to the individual sites.
