After almost 40 years with Toronto design firm Forrec, where he was integral to the creation of many major themed entertainment experiences, Steven Rhys retired in 2020.
Such leading names as Center Parcs, Universal Studios, Legoland, Nickelodeon, Six Flags, Samsung Everland, Herschend Family Entertainment and Meraas Holding have put their trust in Forrec, and Rhys, to help create their world-class experiences. His hands-on experience gave him a keen understanding of what’s needed to make a project work. He excelled at articulating concepts, understanding the financial implications, and helping to zero in on the elements of an informed business decision.
