CL Corporation latest: New flying theatre, two 4D theatres and VR horror simulator collaboration

Leading creator of dynamic and immersive attractions, CL Corporation (CLC) is rounding off a busy year with news of 4D and flying theatre installations, as well as VR horror simulator experience AFFECTED: The Hotel.

AFFECTED: The Hotel is being developed in partnership with independent VR studio, Fallen Planet Studios. The new attraction builds on the huge success of Fallen Planet’s AFFECTED: The Manor which has attracted over 200 million hits on YouTube to date.

The immersive hyper-real simulator attraction synchronises a bespoke, 4 minute VR experience with CLC’s real-world elevator that features pneumatics and other immersive 4D effects.

BIRDY™ – greater element of surprise and deeper immersion

The company has also announced the opening of its first BIRDY™ flying theatre. CLC’s unique design allows visitors to enter from the back of the theatre which is intended to offer a greater element of surprise.

Once installed and secured with a double seatbelt, the guest’s seat rotates 180° and quickly moves forward to the screen dome. Created by Fulldome.Pro, the enveloping nature of the dome means that the image is projected everywhere for a truly immersive experience.

BIRDY™ has been created to provide medium-sized theme parks with a destination attraction. The basic model is a 24-seater, and can be sized up to suit the location.

The first installation of this next-generation attraction is set to open at Hero Central Park, Empire City in Malaysia in October 2018.

CLC also has two 4D theatres in the pipeline. The first is a 128-seat theatre set to open in April 2018 in an aquarium in France. The second is a 300 seat theatre slated to open in 2019.

Based in France, Cl Corporation specialises in the design of bespoke turnkey immersive and interactive attractions. With a comprehensive research department and production facility, the company continues to push the boundaries of the immersive experience.
