Magic Makers nominated charity at BALPPA's first FEC Trade Exhibition and Excellence Awards, Drayton Manor

The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) has named Magic Makers as its nominated charity for the first FEC Trade Exhibition and Excellence Awards.

Organised by BALPPA, the event takes place on 27th November 2017 at Drayton Manor.

Its aim is to recognise and bring together members of the UK’s indoor play and FEC industry.

Magic Makers is the registered charity of The Partyman Company which runs a chain of indoor play centres, day nurseries, a farm park, water play attraction and the Teddy Tastic make-a-bear company.

“We’re so thankful to BALPPA and its members for their kind support,” reports James Sinclair, Creator and CEO of The Partyman Company and Magic Makers.

Magic Makers exists to create magical memories for children

“Magic Makers exists to create magical memories for children and their families living with serious and life-limiting illnesses, or those little ones experiencing a difficult time in their life.”

Magic Makers will be exhibiting at the trade show where visitors can find out how they can help by offering their attractions, product or service to create a little more magic.

“We’re delighted to be supporting Partyman’s Magic Makers as our nominated charity,” confirms BALPPA’s Tracey Bancroft.

“We are all in the business of bringing some magic to our customers and this is an opportunity to support those most deserving children and their families.”

According to BALPPA, a silent auction for the charity will be held during the Excellence Awards.

“We are thankful for the wonderful support from the leisure community who have donated prizes & experience including HB Leisure, Drayton Manor Theme Park and Hotel, Kidzania, Willows Activity Farm, Cartoon Network, Grand Pier Western Super Mare, DHX Media and Paradise Wildlife Park.”

Contact tracey@balppa.org to add to the list of raffle prizes – members can donate tickets, a goody bag or experience.

Monetary donations can also be made on the day and online. Magic Makers would like to thank Harry Levy for the company’s generous donation.
