Christie set to showcase latest innovations at InfoComm India 2018

Audio visual expert, Christie, will be showcasing a whole range of cutting-edge solutions at InfoComm India 2018.

The company is promising ‘powerful tools for powerful experiences’ at this year’s InfoComm India which runs from 18-20 September at the Bombay Exhibition Center.

Visitors to Christieā€™s multi-zone display at Booth B10 will be able to check out state-of-the-art 1DLPĀ® and 3DLPĀ® projection solutions. Alongside these, the company will be showcasing LED, LCD, content management and image processing technologies that deliver spectacular visuals for various Pro AV applications.

ā€œOur multi-zone booth will showcase our unique ability to provide completely integrated, end-to-end display, processing and content management solutions that are highly sought-after by customers for various applications,” explains Rajesh Patkar, Deputy General Manager, Christie India.Ā “We will by presenting these latest technologies to visitors using real-world demonstrations.ā€

According to Patkar, the company has already built a strong reputation in the Indian market.Ā Christie RGB laser projection was chosen by Indiaā€™s leading theme park operator, Wonderla Holidays Ltd., to power its new amusement ride in Hyderabad.

Mission Interstellar is housed within an eight-storey building and takes guests on a space experience via a huge 3,500 sqft parabolic screen and a hydraulic lift seating system. Riders are totally immersed in the adventure thanks to a Christie D4KLH60 high frame rate 3DLP 4K RGB laser projector, which offers native 4K resolution and high brightness of 60,000 lumens.

ā€œWe came to the conclusion that Christieā€™s RGB laser projection system is the most appropriate choice for Mission Interstellar due to its high brightness, wide colour gamut, scalability, as well as lower total cost of ownership in the long run,ā€ explained Ajikrishnan, Vice President, Engineering, Wonderla Holidays Ltd.

ā€œBy selecting the Christie D4KLH60, Wonderla Hyderabad has become the first theme park in India to install Christieā€™s state-of-the-art RGB laser projection system.ā€

Christie is a platinum partner of the Systems Integration India Awards 2018, taking place in Hall 2A, Bombay Exhibition Centre, on September 18 at 6:00 p.m
