Cloward H2O announces the opening of Tidal Cove Waterpark

Cloward H20 Tidal Cove

Cloward H2O, an expert in aquatic design, has announced the opening of Tidal Cove Waterpark at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. The park is home to the most slides and activities in Miami-Dade County.

The JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Florida, has undergone a large expansion and upgrade project. It now boasts a new hotel wing and expanded convention space. Thanks to Cloward H2O, it is also home to the new Tidal Cove Waterpark, which covers five acres. Cloward H2O worked alongside EDSA and WhiteWater on the project.

Waterslides and activities galore

Visitors to the resort can now enjoy a huge range of slides and attractions – the most on offer in Miami-Dade County. There is fun for the whole family on the wide selection of waterslides, including two steep drop slides, a multi-lane Whizzard high-speed enclosed tube slide for racing, a family-style raft Boomerango slide for zero gravity thrills, a double tube Constrictor ride with super tight high banking turns, and the world’s first double tube Master Blaster water coaster with gravity-defying uphill runs.

For those looking to relax, there’s the Lazy River, where guests can relax on a tube and float along the 700-foot-long attraction. Those who enjoy an adrenaline hit can try their hand at the FlowRider Triple – a unique surf machine can take up to three riders at once. Guests can take part, or sit simply back and watch in the nearby bar.

The park also has a 7,800 square foot lagoon-style pool, with cabanas, deck seating, beach entry and quiet coves. There’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the sun around the main pool, but there’s also a separate Oasis pool for adults only, which is the perfect place for a peaceful break. Families will love the sizeable Kids Cove too, which has slides, sprays and a large beach entry pool.

Cloward H2O will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Asia in Shanghai from June 12th – 14th and can be found at booth #3133.

The company was recently responsible for revitalising the historic Manhattan Beach Aquarium, a protected structure at the end of a 1920’s era boardwalk.
