DHX Brands, the dedicated brand management and consumer products arm of DHX Media, is bringing the Teletubbies back to Butlin’s this season with a brand new show featuring the Tiddlytubbies.
Teletubbies’ Big Play Date marks the first time the Tiddlytubbies have appeared in a live show.
The eight mini Teletubbies regularly feature in the new television series. They live in their own dedicated area of the Home Dome. Each of the eight has their own individual colour and character.
DHX Brands is producing the 20-minute live performance which features new music and invites children to join in with a variety of fun games, from tickling, to dress up, to catch.
“The Teletubbies proved hugely popular in 2017, not only with our younger guests but also with their parents – no doubt most of whom have very happy memories of them from their own childhood,” comments Butlin’s Managing Director, Dermot King.
“We are delighted to welcome them back again for 2018, with a new show that will once again be fun and entertaining for the whole family.”
Teletubbies’ Big Play Date follows themes from the new TV series
“Following a year of Big Parties with the Teletubbies, we are delighted to introduce a brand new 20-minute show for 2018 which invites children to join the Teletubbies on their Big Play Date,” confirms Danielle Tanton, Global Live Events and Attractions Manager for DHX Brands.
“Following the themes of the new TV series, the show is filled with friendship, songs, games, dancing, big hugs and laughter and will have children jumping from the start with their Teletubby friends.”
Families can enjoy the new show at Butlin’s three seaside resorts – Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.
