ClowardH2O founder Greg Cloward was inducted into the World Waterpark Association’s Hall of Fame during this week’s WWA Show in Las Vegas.
During a distinguished 40+ year career, he has made many contributions to the development and growth of the waterpark industry.
Now retired, Greg founded Cloward & Associates in the early 1970s. The focus back then was primarily on waste water treatment and hydraulic design. In the mid ’80s, however, the company began to design pools, lagoons, rivers and waterpark features for high end resorts and entertainment venues.
Decades and hundreds of projects later, and now known as ClowardH2O, the US-based firm is thriving. Continuing Greg’s legacy, the company prides itself on tackling the design and engineering of many of the most challenging and creative waterpark and waterplay projects around the world.
Cloward H20 recently announced a full mechanical, electrical and plumbing division called Cloward Engineering Group.
The Hall of Fame award was made during the opening session of the WWA Show on October 24. The trade show element of the event continues today, Thursday October 25. The ClowardH2O team is inviting everyone to congratulate Greg on booth #1713.
