Imagineear, leading creator of digital content and apps, have developed tech upgrades to the popular Emirates Stadium tour.

A quarter of a million visitors a year flock to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on non-match days. Over 75% of visitors take the self-guided tour to learn more about the club’s history, its current players and the 60,000 plus capacity venue.

Imagineear’s robust, top-of- the-range MPti™ devices have now replaced the 1,000 MediaPacker™vplayers which hosted the original tour.

The MPti™ boasts 5” intuitive touch screens and advanced capabilities allowing for more features to enhance the visitor experience.

On such innovation is ‘Shirt-Cam,’ which enables visitors to point their devices at their favourite players’ shirts to generate layers of content and action video triggered by the MPti™’s integrated camera lens.

A new interface has also been designed to match the MPti™ screen.

The tour is available in nine languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish,
Japanese, Mandarin and Portuguese Brazilian – reflecting the multi-national interest in this Premier League club and its breath-taking venue.

Imagineear designs and builds robust audio and multimedia equipment for culture and attraction clients around the world.

The company creates and delivers innovative content experiences and apps, as well as advising on client’s projects. They are leaders in hand-held devices and have developed their own technology to offer a wide range of solutions for attractions.

Founded in 1886, Arsenal has a wonderful history from the club’s time at Woolwich, Highbury and Emirates Stadium. The newly refurbished museum – reopened in 2016 – offers visitors the chance to take in a number of exciting exhibits.
