ImmotionVR Wembley

ImmotionVR opened a new immersive virtual reality (VR) experience centre at London Designer Outlet. Located at Wembley Park, close to the world famous Wembley Stadium, this is the company’s VR’s eighth site in the UK.

The centre’s motion simulators, which come complete with wrap-around sound and multi-direction movement, offer a fully immersive virtual reality experience.

Christmas VR content

Special VR content has been added just for the festive period. Elf Power Inc – Christmas Experience takes participants on a mission with Santa’s elves to make sure presents are delivered on time around the world. Alternative experiences include the virtual ghost train Jinxed, underwater exploration in the Legend of Lusca and Delta Zero, a race to save humankind from impending doom.

London Designer Outlet’s (LDO) 70 shops, restaurants and Cineworld multiplex are just 12 minutes from central London by tube/rail. The new ImmotionVR centre is open seven days a week. Suitable for visitors aged 6+, experiences start from just £5 ($6.30/€5.50).

“We’re excited to be opening in such a prestigious venue as LDO in Wembley Park,” says Arek Antoniak, head of retail operations at ImmotionVR. “We’ll be offering families a unique type of experience, with cutting-edge VR that will be a great addition to the leisure park. We’re expecting a busy first few weeks.”

Something new for London Designer Outlet

The Mayor of Brent, Councillor Arshad Mahmood, officially opened the new VR experience centre on December 11. “I really enjoyed having a go,” he said. “It’s an amazing spot for the store, this part of the centre is always busy with shoppers. Plus, there isn’t anything like this locally, so it’s a nice new addition to the London Designer Outlet.”

Sue Shepherd, LDO’s centre manager added, “We’re delighted to welcome Immotion VR in good time for the Festive season and the upcoming school holidays. It adds a new dimension to LDO’s existing diverse range of retail, leisure and dining and is a fun and innovative way to experience the best in virtual reality.”

ImmotionVR provides high-quality immersive experiences for visitors at each of its virtual reality outlets. It generally chooses high-footfall, centre-aisle positions in sites such as shopping malls. As well as its UK locations, the company is also exploring potential sites in the USA and Middle East.
