Cashless payment provider Intercard has installed its latest systems at all four Farah family entertainment centres in Qatar.

The most recent of these was completed on April 25 for Farah’s new ‘Fun Day’ FEC format. Aimed at families, the air-conditioned indoor amusement park opens year-round. While the kids play on the rides, video and redemption games, parents can relax in a dedicated seating area.

At its other FECs, Farah offers the chance for children to role play in various scenarios while enjoying open-ended play. Gifts, souvenirs and food are available at affordable prices.

Paying for all the rides, games and attractions is seamless thanks to Intercard’s cashless technology, which was provided via local dealer Chimera Solutions Qatar.

ā€œThe installation has been very smooth,ā€ says Farah Parks executive manager Fouad Chehade. ā€œThe support from Chimera Solutions and the Intercard team has been tremendous. My revenue has increased since I started implementing their solution. I looked at the various options and I felt that the only brand to deliver is Intercard in terms of running multiple sites.ā€

Intercard in the Middle East

Intercard has millions of debit cards in use at over 4,000 amusement outlets around the globe. It has been a leading provider of cashless payment technology in the Middle East since it installed a system 20 years ago at Encounter Zone in Dubai’s Wafi Mall, which it claims was the first FEC in the region.

“Since then Intercard’s continued innovations and renowned customer service have made its technology the most-used in the market,” says Chimera Solutions general manager, Fouad Kyriakos.
