KCC Entertainment Design, a leading creator of themed environments, has announced it is heading to IAAPA Expo Asia 2019, in the wake of four new park projects in China.

KCC Entertainment Design is pleased to announce four parks that the company designed will be opening their doors to the public in China this year. On the back of this success, KCC is heading to Shanghai for IAAPA Expo Asia 2019 and is looking forward to meeting new clients.

One of these projects is China’s first Smurfs theme park, set to open in Shanghai later this year. The family-oriented theme park will have both an indoor and an outdoor area for visitors to enjoy. Each will be approximately 10,000 square metres. The project includes four themed zones: The Forest, Smurfs Village, Gargamel’s House and The Outdoors. Inside the park will be over 20 themed attractions and experiences. Guests will have fun on the Smurfs Berry Coaster, the AR Gargamel Experience, Smurf Golf and more.

Family-friendly attractions

KCC Entertainment Design also worked on the Wanda Nanjing Indoor Theme Park, which is now open. The park is the entertainment hub of a brand new mixed-use development by the country’s Wanda Group. The family-friendly attraction blends fun with culture and heritage, with a nod to Nanjing’s textiles industry. It has a footprint of 34.000 square metres and boasts over 22 attractions.

Other projects include the first FEC designed by the company for the Hainan Ocean Group, which is located on the island of Sanya. In addition to this, the KCC is also creating a Chocolate Kingdom theme park in Yingde, Guangzhou.

The company is involved in several exciting projects in the China and Asia-Pacific region, as well as in the Middle East. The team is heading to IAAPA Expo Asia in Shanghai from the 12th – 14th June and has invited attendees to visit booth #1122 to discuss their entertainment project needs.
