Interactive entertainment leader, LAI Games, is to showcase its first-of-a-kind Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride at this week’s Amusement Expo International in Las Vegas.

Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride brings virtual reality to the coin-op amusement game space. The ground-breaking attraction enables FECs and entertainment venues, large or small, to offer a quality, VR experience.

VR promises to be big news at this year’s Amusement Expo, a must-visit event for the coin-op and revenue-generating amusement, music and family entertainment industry. With a focus on the fast-growing virtual reality entertainment ecosystem, visitors will find a dedicated VR area on the exhibit floor, as well the opportunity to attend a VR Education Summit.

Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride has been designed to offer a fun VR experience for everyone, from dedicated gamers to first-timers. Created in partnership with renowned video game developer, Ubisoft, it features the globally-popular Rabbids brand in three suitably crazy adventures. Developed using state-of-the-art technology including a D-Box motion platform, HTC Vive headsets, dynamic wind simulation and hi-fi audio, The Big Ride is likely to prove a hit with guests and a money-spinner for operators.

The 2018 Amusement Expo International kicks off on Tuesday, 27th February 2018 with a full day of education sessions. Wednesday, 28th February sees the start of the trade show which runs for two days.

AMOA (Amusement & Music Operators Association) and AAMA (American Amusement Machine Association) have joined forces as co-sponsors to develop this year’s 3-day programme at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. Industry professionals will be able to check out the latest technologies and make the most of networking and educational opportunities.

Alongside Virtual Rabbids: The Big Ride, visitors to the LAI Games Booth #145 will be able to see last year’s AMOA Innovator Award-winners, Let’s Bounce and HYPERshoot, as well as the Prize Box crane.

The company develops, manufactures, and sells coin and card operated prize merchandising games, ticket redemption games, photo booths, kiddie rides, and video and novelty games.
