Brass Ring Awards legacy entertainment booth iaapa expo 2018

Leading theme park and resort design company, Legacy Entertainment, is set to launch its new brand identity and announce major upcoming projects at next month’s IAAPA Expo in Orlando.

The newly-designed Legacy Booth 1062 reflects the firm’s year-long brand evolution and restructuring . It also marks the company’s transition from a sole proprietorship to senior employee ownership.

“While we now have a new name and a new logo, we are still providing our clients with the same standard-setting creative services for their bold and innovative projects based around the world,” commented Barry Kemper, one of the owners of Legacy Entertainment and the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

“During the past 16 years, we’ve assembled the industry’s top talents, and have recently even made several new hires to strengthen our already robust team.”

The timing of the rebrand couldn’t have been better. Two of Legacy Entertainment’s biggest projects to date are set to go live in the coming months. The Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park project comes online in November 2018 , and Chimelong Ocean World is slated to debut mid-2019.

“The openings of these two major attractions will allow us a wonderful opportunity to reintroduce ourselves to the global industry as Legacy Entertainment,” added Kemper.

Using specific examples, Jeffs will deconstruct the key principles of immersive theatre and how they are directly influencing the attractions industry and shaping the future of theme parks. Taylor Jeffs’ session is on Wednesday, November 14th, from 2:00 to 3:15 PM.

Legacy Entertainment is a leader in theme park design, with over 40 successful projects around the world. Among its many recent successes are eight collaborations with South Korean theme park Lotte World, as well as the debut of The Kingdom of Poseidon resort in Harbin.
