Polin Waterparks, leading supplier of waterslides and attractions, has supplied two waterslides to P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Dawn cruise Ship.
Two Aquatube waterslides have been installed on the ship’s deck, each 80 metres long (262 feet) and will open to the public in June 2017. The slides will be the inaugural waterslides provided to the P&O fleet.
Polin’s Aquatubes are renowned for their speed but also Polin’s trademarked effects, finishes, patterns and translucent options that add to the overall experience.
In addition to Polin’s waterslides, The Pacific Dawn cruise ship contains a variety of entertainment offerings including a zip line, a rock climbing wall and interactive kids’ area to entertain the 2,020 passengers on board.
Cruising is on the rise globally and as such, fleets need to remain competitive. There is an increasing demand for ships to upgrade with the latest attractions to improve the entertainment offering on board.
The installation is the fourth Cruise project for Polin who have previously supplied waterslides for three of the world’s largest cruise lines: Carnival, Royal Caribbean and MSC.
