A Pioneer in Waterslide Technologies

Polin has been a pioneer in the development of waterslide technologies since it was founded in 1976.

The company was ahead of the game in driving the advancement and application of light resin transfer molding (LRTM) in waterslide manufacturing. In fact, in 2006, it converted 100 percent of its fiberglass production to LRTM, a first in the aquatic-attractions industry.

Subsequent innovations include special lighting effects and, most recently, sound-integrated components to deliver a truly immersive experience.

Polin’s iconic and multi-award-winning King Cobra is the first waterslide where the theme is actually built into the fiberglass design.

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) recently recognised Polin as one of only 200 companies in the country to have invested the most significant funding in R&D both in 2015 and in 2016.

Ali Cansun, Polin’s R&D Director, described its new certification as an honour that underlines the company’s commitment to striving for new goals:

“It is just one more opportunity for us to showcase our dedication to the waterpark industry,” he said.

“This year, those goals include an increase in the productivity of our products and services. We also will be focused on even greater innovation and quality for our customers.”

Polin Waterparks performs all of its manufacturing in Turkey in a 35,000 square metre state-of-the-art factory that has been specially designed for waterslide production.

The company has designed and installed over 2,500 waterpark projects in 100 countries, worldwide.
