"Harmony of the Seas" includes three of Polin’s signature waterslides, together referred to as The Perfect Storm:

  • The Ultimate Abyss – Cyclone & Typhoon: Two of Polin’s Aquatubes form the ship's signature attraction. Guests enter the slides on Deck 18 and whizz in circles through its enclosed tubes, alternating between transparent and dark sections, before dropping approximately 100 feet and exiting onto Deck 15.
  • Supercell: Polin’s Space Hole is one of the largest slides available for speed riding. Guests zoom through an enclosed tube that deposits them into a giant open bowl where centrifugal forces whirl them around before they exiting with a splash through the center. Guests access the slides from a breath-taking glass platform 150 feet in the air before taking the 10-story plunge.

Splashaway Bay is the first mini waterpark area for kids in Royal's fleet, with an aqua play structure featuring sea-creature water cannons, winding slides, a gigantic tipping bucket and a multiplatform jungle-gym.

Polin's waterslides are manufactured using their innovative Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)  technology. This process creates waterslides components that are smooth and shiny on both sides – Magic Shine – which means the tunnel components stay shiny longer and are easier to clean – a considerable advantages in a maritime environment. It also means the slides are stronger, lighter and easier to install – all important with the high wind loads on board ship. Polin’s waterslides also offer their patented Natural Light Effects technology.
