Simtec Systems, leaders in motion simulation, has launched a new product FUNRIDE 30.
The new simulator has a closed cabin for 30 seated visitors situated on a Simtec motion system. In addition to a six degrees of freedom (DOF) hydraulic motion system; 3D projection visuals and wind, spray and scent special effects will create an immersive experience for guests.
FUNRIDE 30 has been developed for a customer in Qatar and is the first new product developed and assembled at Simtec’s new Manufactory in Braunschweig, which was completed in Spring 2019.
To celebrate the launch of the FUNRIDE 30, the company put on an event for suppliers and partners at the Manufactory. This included a presentation and testing the new ride, followed by refreshments. With over 5,500m² assembly and test space, the new Manufactory can meet all customer’s requirements to build, test and install ever bigger systems.
The FUNRIDE family of products allows up to 96 seated or standing guests with open or closed auditoriums and various show effects. The FUNRIDE 40 is currently being created for several locations in China. The FUNRIDE 96 has been installed for the ‘Power of Nature’ ride at the Wanda Wuhan Movie Park in China.
