Six Flags Membership Rewards programme announced

News
six flags membership, six flags rumours

Six Flags has announced an exclusive new Six Flags Membership programme to reward guest loyalty with free food, souvenirs and other perks.

The scheme is called Six Flags Membership Rewards. Members earn points each time they visit the park, go on rides, see a show, or make a purchase. Points then go towards free food, souvenirs, park tickets, and one-of-a-kind in-park experiences.

Additional perks are available for visitors who participate in contests, take surveys and read Six Flags newsletters.

The scheme comes as Six Flag’s first half results reveal that members are the parks’ most valuable and loyal guests. The company saw an 8 percent year-over-year increase in its Active Pass Base, which represents the total number of guests who are enrolled in the company’s membership program or have a season pass.

Mark Kupferman, Vice President, Insights and Interactive Marketing, said: “We created the most value-packed Membership rewards program in the industry — bar none. We surveyed thousands of our Members who told us they wanted more unique benefits. We are thrilled to offer this exclusive new rewards program for our Gold Plus, Platinum, Diamond, and Diamond Elite Members.”

Visitors who take up a Six Flags Membership can redeem their points for a wide array of exclusive Six Flags rewards. These include VIP tours and VIP parking, private character meet and greets and dining experiences, cabana rentals, Fright Fest® haunted maze passes, and exclusive Member merchandise. Six Flags Membership Rewards also includes free game and food vouchers, free ride and character photos and free tickets for friends.

Six Flags is the world’s largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America.Six Flags entertainment logo

Six Flags Entertainment achieved record revenues of $129m for the first quarter of 2018, an increase of $29m or 30% on the same period the previous year.

The revenue growth was attributed to a 27% increase in visitors to Six Flags parks, as well as the success of the operator’s pricing strategy and international licensing programme.

Six Flags is developing three new parks in China. The operator has again partnered real estate firm Riverside Investment Group to build a new theme park, water park and adventure park in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province.
