The world’s largest regional theme park company, Six Flags, has released initial plans for a brand new thrill park at Dubai Parks and Resorts.
Set to be the first all-out thrill park in the GCC, Six Flags Dubai promises record-breaking coasters, spectacular shows and a host of interactive attractions.
“Through this collaborative partnership with Dubai Parks and Resorts, we are excited to bring innovation, entertainment and unmatched thrills to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), ” reported John Odum, President of Six Flags International Development Company.
The park is being designed in collaboration with word-renowned design company, FORREC, and will encompass 27 rides and attractions, including best-in-class roller coasters, tower rides, thrilling water slides, VR experiences and a next-gen 4-D interactive dark ride.
Visitors will enter and exit the park via a state-of-the-art walkway. The fully air-conditioned area will offer a VIP mezzanine, space for private and catered events, plus a range of retail and food locations including a signature bakery and deli.
Guests will have access to three attractions from inside the plaza and the park’s iconic roller coaster will wrap around the entire promenade.
After dark, a spectacular light show will illuminate the night sky.
Six Flags Dubai is scheduled to open in 2019 near the Lapita™ Hotel and Riverland™ Dubai.
“As the largest regional theme park company in the world, we are dedicated to showcasing Six Flags Dubai as a world-class, one-of-a-kind theme park, ” added Odum.
