Ginza Sony Park has unveiled a new ‘Ghostbusters Rookie Training’ augmented reality (AR) experience, as part of its ‘Ghostbusters in the Park’ programme.
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters, Sony will give fans the chance to become Ghostbusters at the Ginza Sony Park in Tokyo, Japan.
Participants will be led by trainers as they explore Ginza Sony Park, working together to exterminate any ghosts that pop up throughout the venue.

The immersive attraction is making its ‘demo debut’ in Japan. Players will be equipped with various tools, including a prototype AR headset using the latest technology.
The free experience is running from October 12 to December 8. Fans interested in taking part are required to sign up, with players picked via a lottery system.
Two to four sessions are planned for each day, and sessions last approximately 60 minutes, including a questionnaire.

The Ghostbusters AR experience is only available in Japanese, with no language interpretation. The application page and consent form are also only in Japanese.

The immersive, multi-sensory VR experience at The VOID will take fans inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time.
