Walt Disney Imagineering has announced that Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will debut in 2021 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Disney has also released new concept images of the immersive two-night hotel experience.
The first concept image, which you can see above, offers a first look at what visitors will see when they arrive for their holiday – the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal.
Upon arrival at the Galactic Starcruiser Terminal, visitors will enter an exclusive launch pod to travel to the Halcyon ship, which is far too large to land on planets.
As guests travel in the launch pod, it will feel as though they are speeding through space, thanks to the pod’s viewports.
Visitors will travel via launch pod to the Halcyon
What’s more, a ‘spaceport of call’ to the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu is included in itineraries, with special passenger transports taking guests to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Visitors will remain in the Star Wars story as they make their way from the Galactic Starcruiser to Galaxy’s Edge on transport ships designed specially for the immersive experience.
These ships are depicted in another new concept image, which you can check out below.
The accommodation attraction will offer a two-night itinerary, with all guests arriving and departing at the same time, similar to Disney Cruise Line.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will feature activities, which include lightsaber training and a trip to the starcruiser’s bridge to learn how to operate ship systems.
