Triotech, the award-winning creator of media-based attractions, has installed a 3D immersive theatre, Le Cinéma des Pirates, at the Voiles en Voiles adventure park in Montreal.

Triotech is pleased to announce the installation of a new 16-seat, immersive theatre in a family-favourite destination in Montreal, Canada. Le Cinéma des Pirates is an innovative attraction which joins a range of activities at Voiles en Voiles adventure park, including an aerial adventure course and climbing & inflatable games, set in the world of royal and pirate ships located. The park is located in the Old Port of Montreal.

The 3D immersive XD theatre is the latest installation by Triotech, which has provided over 350 attractions in more than 60 countries globally.

A multisensory experience

“Triotech is proud to expand the family activities available at the Voiles en Voiles adventure park and to install its very first immersive theatre at the Old Port in Montreal,” says Sylvain Larose, Triotech’s director of operations. “The 16-seat theatre provides a 3D immersive and multisensory experience combined with special effects. No matter the weather, young and old alike will be able to enjoy an immersive attraction that transcends time, space and imagination.”

This is the first time that Triotech has brought its XD theatre to Montreal, however, it recently installed rides at the Méga Parc des Galeries de la Capitale in Québec as well as at the Granby Zoo. The Canadian company has a creative studio in Mile Ex as well as an assembly plant in Joliette.

The Canadian creator of fun celebrated its 20 year anniversary in May 2019 and says it is feeling 20 years young after two decades in the business. It began life in 1999 and was founded by the current president and CEO Ernest Yale. Since then, it has grown into a big-hitter in the industry. The team is expanding, with the recent appointment of Salim Sabbagha as Director of Sales for Latin America, and Eric Beauregard to the position of Vice-President of global sales.
