Leading interactive dark ride company, Triotech, is celebrating the opening of LEGO® NINJAGO® the Ride at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort.
The company’s latest ground-breaking attraction features its proprietary Maestro™ Hand Gesture Technology to turn riders into ninjas.
Triotech built the ride as the centrepiece of the resort’s new martial arts kingdom, LEGO NINJAGO World. This latest addition to the park continues the largest period of expansion in its five-year history. The new zone takes inspiration from LEGO’s popular building sets and the “LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu” TV show.
The attraction also anticipates the Warner Bros. Pictures release of “The LEGO NINJAGO Movie” in September. The full-length motion picture comes from the same stable as 2014’s smash hit “The LEGO Movie™”. It features the voices of Jackie Chan, Michael Peña, Dave Franco, Abbi Jacobson and Olivia Munn.
Guests rack up points using ninja hand moves to blast animated fireballs, lightning and more at ranks of 3D villains.
Further enhancements include 4D effects including heat, fog and strobe lighting for an ultimate immersive experience.
This is Triotech’s fourth installation of LEGO NINJAGO The Ride for LEGOLAND. Its location in one of the amusement industry’s heartlands makes it a landmark project for the company.
Other LEGOLAND parks offering the attraction are LEGOLAND® California, LEGOLAND® Billund in Denmark and LEGOLAND® Malaysia.
Triotech’s reputation as a turnkey integrated provider of innovative attractions is rapidly growing worldwide.
The company’s signature products include The Flyer, XD Theatre, XD Dark Ride and the Typhoon simulator.
