Valhalla at Blackpool Pleasure Beach has been named the world’s best water ride at the Golden Ticket Awards – for the third year running.
The Golden Ticket Awards are hosted by trade magazine, Amusement Today.
International theme park and roller coaster experts are asked to vote for their favourite parks in a total of 25 categories.
Pleasure Beach managing director Amanda Thompson told the Blackpool Gazette: “I am thrilled that Valhalla has been named the world’s best water ride for the third year in succession at the Golden Ticket awards.”
“It’s extremely pleasing to see that the ride still regarded as the world’s best and is yet another example of the world class line up of rides we have here at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.”
Blackpool Pleasure Beach will introduce a new rollerocaster – Icon – in spring 2018.
