Virtuix Omni Arena IAAPA 2019

Virtuix, developer of the Omni virtual reality treadmill and Omni Arena esports attraction, is celebrating its most successful IAAPA Expo ever, after selling nearly 40 Omni Arena units at this year’s show.

Virtuix is proud to announce that it enjoyed a very successful visit to IAAPA Expo 2019, which took place last month at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The company’s booth was packed with visitors during the show and the team sold almost 40 units of its popular Omni Arena VR attraction.

This breaks Virtuix’s previous sales record. The Omni Arena is now a leading VR attraction across the US, as well as being the world’s top location-based esports platform.

Elite Force

Visitors to the Virtuix booth has a chance to play the latest release for Omni Arena, a military shooter-style game called Elite Force, which debuted at the show. The company also announced a new partnership with Hownd, a foot traffic generation platform, in order to drive repeat play.

“Given the performance of Omni Arena at our Orlando venue, we decided to purchase a second system for our new location opening in Katy, TX,” says Eddie Hamann, Managing Member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. “Omni Arena has been well received by our guests and has certainly exceeded our revenue expectations.”

“We’re thrilled about the success of Omni Arena,” says Jan Goetgeluk, founder and CEO of Virtuix. “Omni Arena is the result of five years of hard work and incorporating customer feedback. We believe it’s the most complete package on the market, with the highest repeat play.”

Omni Arena is an immersive VR attraction that allows players to walk and run around inside the action while they play video games. Earlier this year, Virtuix announced that it has teamed up with HP to offer a cash prize pool of $100,000 for the 2020 Omni Arena esports series.
