Vortex Aquatic Structures International has introduced a new family attraction concept. RiverQuest combines the thrills of river rides and waterslides with added multi-sensory elements.

The experience comes complete with DreamTunnel and DreamPassage interactive sections that surprise and wow riders.

“We’re proud to bring RiverQuest to the aquatic play industry,” says Vortex International president and CEO, Stephen Hamelin. “We’ve taken the innovation to a new level with a multisensory ride that families can truly experience and enjoy together. And the built-in theming opportunities of the DreamTunnel and DreamPassage give owners a tremendous creative voice in crafting a unique ride experience.”

RiverQuest was demonstrated for the first time to potential buyers at the recent IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando. According to the company’s Jessi-Lyna Wan, “many clients showed positive interest in this concept.”

Based in Quebec, Canada, Vortex specialises in aquatic play landscapes and entertainment. The company boasts more than 7,000 installations in 45 countries. Working with hotels, resorts, amusement and waterparks, its clients include the Wanda Group, Royal Caribbean, Hilton and Meliá Hotels, among many others.
