Waterplay, the aquatic play specialist, has announced the release of two new aquatic therapy features. The restorative sprays are designed for aquatic facilities.

The new restorative sprays have been created by Waterplay Solutions to improve physical wellbeing through water therapy. They are designed to restore, relax and rejuvenate for a full mind, body and soul experience. The company originally created its Restorative Spray 1 and 2 as a custom project, but the products have experienced a large amount of demand and are now available for a range of aquatic facilities.

The two sprays can be installed inside or around a pool for a dynamic therapy experience. Clients get double value since they can be used as a massage tool or as a fun play element for younger visitors.

“Water therapy elements are becoming more common in North America’s aquatic facilities,” says Shanley Hutchinson, Waterplay’s Creative Manager. “The Restorative Spray 1 and 2 provide healing and health-related benefits through hydrotherapy, with a look that naturally complements any aquatic environment. For example, Restorative Spray 1, with a cascading, fan-shaped water display, creates a serene water experience that calms the senses and soothes by enveloping the body in water, whereas the Restorative Spray 2 releases a more robust stream of water to target tired, aching muscles.”

The products are flexible and can be used in a variety of settings, such as beach entry or deep swimming pools. They are best installed in groups of two or more. The sprays appeal to all ages and abilities, adding a fun water play element and a soothing massage experience for tired muscles.

“Taking care of your mental, physical and emotional well-being is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle,” says Waterplay President, Jill White, “Taking our therapy features to the global market is a great opportunity to encourage this philosophy and we look forward to seeing the Restorative Spray in many aquatic facilities throughout the world.”

Waterplay Solutions recently appointed a new VP of Strategic Growth and Customer Experience and will also be attending IAAPA Expo Asia in Shanghai from the 12th- 14th June, where team members can be found at booth #1470.
