Zero Latency unveils world's first 8-player free-roam VR gaming arena

Leading location-based Virtual Reality (VR) entertainment company, Zero Latency is to bring the first multi-player free-roam VR experience to Las Vegas.

The 2,000-square-foot Virtual Reality Powered by Zero Latency arena will open at the LEVEL UP gaming lounge on September 8 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Up to eight players at a time will be able to explore a completely interactive digital universe. Ā Teams will be able to choose from three different 30-minute experiences: Zombie Survival, Singularity and Engineerium. Ā Personal and team scores are provided to track success.

Players work in teams to complete challenges, able to see each other’s avatars throughĀ OSVR HDK2 virtual reality headsets, and communicate viaĀ Razer-integrated headphone / microphone units. Ā Military-grade backpacks contain high-performance Alienware PC gaming computer and players carry a perfectly weighted, custom-made simulated weapon for game sessions that require firepower.

The first Zero Latency arena debuted in 2015 in Melbourne, Australia and since then, nine additional Zero Latency-powered arenas have opened across four continents.
