Diagon Alley expands The Wizarding World of Harry Potter presence at Universal Orlando and connects the Studios park to Universal Islands of Adventure. Diagon Alley includes Escape from Gringott’s, a high-tech 3D coaster experience, and the Hogwart’s Express train that crosses parks and carries visitors to the original Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
AOA was the Project Manager of both the in-ride and exterior special effects for this exciting experience. AOA’s team supported early conceptual work with cost estimation and program development. AOA provided services like project management, technical direction, and even developed special effects for the dragon feature.
