Co-founder of entertainment development company Mycotoo, Fri Forjindam has experience in multiple industries. Not only themed entertainment and experiential storytelling, but also fashion and theatre.
Born in Cameroon, she emigrated to New Orleans at the age of 14. Her induction into the theme park industry came while working as creative director on Bollywood Parks Dubai for Riva Creative. At Mycotoo she provides principal creative direction, graphic design and brand management, working alongside fellow founders Cliff Warner and David Wally. Mycotoo is based in California (with a European office in Barcelona) and has created award-winning brand experiences for HBO, Netflix and T-Mobile. Forjindam also worked on the Prince’s Paisley Park experience.
A prolific speaker, she has presented sessions at SXSW, MIPIM and the Immersive Design Summit. As well as being a board member of the Ryman Arts Foundation, Fri sits on the advisory board of Harriet B’s Daughters, a non-profit organisation dedicated to mentoring the next generation of themed entertainment leadership and expanding representation within guest experiences.
