accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider for attractions worldwide, has renewed its longstanding collaboration with Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
The companies have entered into a new five-year agreement for the ongoing use of the accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing platform throughout Six Flags’ theme and water park portfolio in North America. This now consists of 42 properties following its merger with Cedar Fair in July 2024.
Reliable, intuitive platform
This landmark contract renewal marks over two decades of ticketing collaboration between accesso and Six Flags. During this time, hundreds of millions of tickets and entitlements have been sold online using the accesso Passport platform.
The system has continually evolved in line with Six Flags’ operational scale, as one of the largest regional theme park operators in the world. Its benchmark level conversion rates and basket size optimisation drive revenue and provide a contemporary digital user experience.
accesso’s Passport eCommerce suite offers sector-leading conversion rates and tested reliability, demonstrating why clients continue to choose and renew their collaborations with the company.
The platform is robust, easy-to-use, and designed to handle huge scale across day-to-day ticket sales, season passes, memberships, and flexible payment plans. In addition, it supports richer visitor engagement and optimises revenue opportunities through integrated up-sell and cross-sell capabilities.
Brian Witherow, CFO of Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, says: “accesso has been a trusted partner in helping us deliver a streamlined and reliable ticketing experience to our guests for nearly two decades. We are pleased to continue working with accesso as a proven technology partner that understands the unique scale and operational needs of our parks.”
“Six Flags is a flagship client for accesso, and we’re pleased to further extend our long-term relationship,” says Steve Brown, CEO of accesso. “This renewal reaffirms the value of our technology and highlights our ability to scale with our partners as they evolve and grow.”
The renewed agreement commences on 1 January 2026.
Earlier this year, accesso acquired the technology of 1RISK, a provider of cloud-based online liability waiver and incident risk management data solutions for the leisure and recreation sector, with a focus on the ski industry.
