Additional slides include Zig Zag Zebra, The Smoke that Thunders, Tanzanian Twister, Swahili Swirl, Serengeti Spinner, Sahara Sidewinders and Kenya Korkscrew.

“We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome the Texas community to the Kalahari experience this fall,” said Kalahari owner Todd Nelson.

“We have 1.5 million square feet of space to play and room to roam. It’s been a challenging year, and what better way to get away from the worry and enjoy time having fun together as a family and community.”

The resort is located 20 miles from Austin and also includes state-of-the-art meeting and convention space, dining options, retail, indoor and outdoor attractions, and a spa and salon.

Meanwhile, Miami-Dade County is set to review a proposal to award developers $13.5m for the Miami Wilds project, which includes a hotel, water park, and retail.

Miami Wilds will be the first new entertainment project anchored by a water park in the Miami market. The proposed development is adjacent to Zoo Miami.
