BRICKLIVE International has signed a multi-year license agreement with Entertainment One to produce themed tours associated with animated television series Peppa Pig.

Live Company Group’s subsidiary BRICKLIVE International (BLI) has signed the agreement with Entertainment One UK Limited, a subsidiary of Entertainment One Ltd (eOne).

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with eOne, a global entertainment brand, to create an exciting new BRICKLIVE tour of one of the world’s most popular pre-school children’s brands, Peppa Pig,” said David Ciclitira, chairman of Live Company Group.

“eOne has become the group’s third international IP partner in less than 12 months, which is a significant milestone for the group and BRICKLIVE.”

Peppa Pig tours are launching later in 2020

eOne owns global children’s brand Peppa Peg, a top performing global preschool property, which has been translated into more than 40 languages and broadcast in more than 180 territories globally.

The agreement will give BRICKLIVE International non-exclusive rights to create and exhibit Peppa Pig-themed BRICKLIVE tours in the UK and the Republic of Ireland up to September 30, 2023.

In return, BLI will pay Entertainment One a royalty fee. The first Peppa Pig BRICKLIVE tour is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2020.

eOne was recently acquired by Hasbro

“BRICKLIVE continues to create fresh, engaging and interactive tours that appeal to young children, demonstrating our strength and appeal to international children’s brands,” added Ciclitira.

“We look forward to working with the eOne team and launching the first tour in Q3 2020.”

eOne was recently acquired by Hasbro in a $4 billion (£3.3 billion) all-cash takeover. “In our commitment to unlocking the power and value of creativity, the combination of our two businesses makes perfect sense for eOne,” said Darren Throop, CEO of eOne.
