NBCUniversal Brand Development has announced the appointment of Carol Nygren as Vice President, Worldwide Live Entertainment.
The move signals NBCUniversal’s focus on developing live event and immersive entertainment opportunities for the studio’s stable of IPs on a worldwide stage.
Announcing the appointment, Vince Klaseus, President, NBCUniversal Brand Development, said, “As we look into new avenues to strengthen the reach and broaden the appeal of our IP, we’re thrilled to welcome Carol. She brings more than 20 years of expertise in the live entertainment arena, specializing in family-focused events, and has a proven track record of creating effective strategies that engage fans of all ages and underscore brand loyalty though live, immersive experiences.

Nygren has extensive experience in live entertainment and events. Prior to joining NBCUniversal she spent 16 years at The Walt Disney Company in addition to related roles at Live Event Management Inc. and most recently Fathom Events.
