Established in 1994, Kraemer Design + Production, Inc. ten-member multidisciplinary design team is focused on visitors, with a dedication to creating enjoyable, educational and memorable experiences for all ages in the family. We are well qualified to handle the demands of large scale projects as well as supplying the personal touch required on smaller–size projects.
Our experience in visitor attractions and entertainment projects has given us a different perspective on the exhibit design profession. We endeavor to create exhibits that are as fun to visit as they are informative and educationally accurate. KD+P approaches every project as an original idea and a unique opportunity to provide distinctive results for our clients and their visitors.
We recognize that visitor attactions, science centers and children’s museums belong to communities and that they should be active participants in community life; therefore we facilitate planning and design that is community and stakeholder based.
We believe in the power of visitors, particularly children, all children; therefore our planning and design is sensitive to and inclusive of visitors’ and childrens needs and whenever practical includes their input through the planning and design process, through prototyping and through any other means agreed upon by the client.
We create exhibitions and programs that are developmentally appropriate to target audiences; therefore our designs are grounded in solid educational theory and can be keyed to educational standards and curriculum.
The majority of our clients hire Kraemer Design + Production, Inc. to work on their projects for the duration – from concept design through installation. Once the concept design has “sign-off” from the client, our project team leads the design-development process through the completion of the final design.
The Kraemer Design + Production Inc. team delivers comprehensive design materials, process documentation, and bid packages for architectural environments, interior design, and finishes. We deliver equally comprehensive design plans for interpretive graphics and labels; lighting and audio components; mixed-media programs; exhibit cabinetry and case goods; special-effect elements; and user-friendly interactive exhibit components.
We assist and advise the client during the bidding process by evaluating submittals and interviewing potential vendors.
