Daisy Shang is executive president at Fantawild, one of the most prolific domestic theme park developers in China. Fantawild operates parks and supplies its own IP and attractions.
Fantawild Holdings’ theme park brands include Fantawild Adventure, Fantawild Dreamland, Fantawild Oriental Heritage and Fantawild Water Park. Attractions across the portfolio include roller coasters and rides from Chinese and Western manufacturers together with media-based experiences created in-house.
Shang highlights why the Shenzhen-based organisation has been able to build and expand its theme park footprint so quickly. “Fantawild is self-sufficient with regard to innovation,” she says. “The company is more than capable in terms of creativity, scientific research and development.”
