Epson, the laser projection specialist, is exhibiting at ISE 2020 this week, at the RAI in Amsterdam, where it will be showcasing its new 30,000 lumens projector.
Epson is pleased to be attending ISE 2020 this week and will be demonstrating a brand new product at the show, its new 30,000 lumens projector (the EB-L30000U). Visitors to the company’s stand will witness it in action, double-stacked, illustrating the power of a quality, cost-efficient 60,000 enhanced 4k lumens solution.
In addition to this, Epson will also be highlighting a variety of innovative AV solutions for several sectors including business, education and retail.
New products on show
One of the products being demonstrated at ISE 2020 is a new Ultra Short Throw Lens, the ELPLX03, designed for the 30k and 25k high lumens projectors. The company is the first projector manufacturer to provide a zero offset UST solution for its full range of interchangeable lens models, from 5,500 to 30,000 lumens.
Also on show will be a new laser UST display projector for business meetings. The EB1485Fi provides dual-link edge blending. In addition to this will be two new signage projectors – the ED-W70 which is designed for retail displays and the EB-805F for corporate signage. Visitors can also find out more about the company’s new easy-to-use ProAV MAC-based software tool.
EpsonUnboxed
Attendees at ISE 2020 will also witness #EpsonUnboxed, a projection mapping spectacular including intricate graphics and effects, which transitions through eight different scenes. The show follows a story, building to a finale involving a real Formula One car.
Neil Colquhoun is Vice President of CISMEA & professional displays, Epson Europe. He says: “This is our most comprehensive AV line-up to date, demonstrating Epson’s complete range of 4k enhanced installation laser projectors and interchangeable lenses – from the very high end 30,000 lumens EB-L30000U to entry-level ProAV laser projectors.
“We have successfully grown our signage solutions for retail and hospitality, as well as completing a unique range of UST projectors for education and corporate markets, and we will have even more to announce later in the year.”
Moverio smart glasses
Visitors to the Epson stand will also be able to see the company’s Moverio smart glasses in action, in association with Emozionella and Toledo Train Vision. Thanks to the smart glasses, they will be transported to a tourist train through the city of Toledo, enhanced by AR and recreated using Epson’s high lumens projectors.
“Augmented reality is fast coming of age, with many applications having moved from proof of concept to mainstream implementation,” says Valerie Riffaud Cangelosi, Head of New Market Development, Epson EMEA.
“Our work with Toledo Train Vision is a wonderful example; showing how smart glasses are now being used by the tourist industry to enhance the visitor experience. This example is one of many practical applications for augmented reality across a diverse range of sectors from retail, healthcare and education to remote assistance, entertainment, museums and visitor attractions.”
The Epson team will be at booth #H90, in Hall 1. ISE 2020 takes place from 11 – 14 February.
Epson also recently announced that its Moverio smart glasses are now integrated with TeamViewer Pilot, in order to support augmented reality (AR) remote assistance.
