Polin Group, a leading single-source amusement park supplier, has announced that Futura Form has entered into an agreement with Merlin Entertainment’s Gardaland Resort. Futura Form is a composite manufacturing company, founded in 2012 under the Polin Group.

To formalise the partnership, Ali Cuneyt Sayin, General Manager of Futura Form; Erman Pakman, Technical Units Manager of Futura Form; and Gabriele Geraci, Business Development Manager Polin Group Italy & Futuraform Gardaland/JumajiProject Manager, met with Aldo Maria Vigevani, CEO of Gardaland in Italy.

New attractions for Gardaland

Futura Form offers production, design and project management services, as well as producing custom composite products. It has provided several composite signage products, tactile-surface products and pop-up displays for a range of industries, including tourism, entertainment, landscape, architectural, and industrial product manufacturing.

In 2005, Gardaland Resort was named in fifth place in Forbes list of the world’s top 10 amusement parks. It was founded in 1975 and now encompasses Gardaland Park, Gardaland Sea Life, and the Gardaland Hotel, covering an area of 445,000 square metres, of which 200,000 square metres is taken up by the theme park.

Jumanji dark ride Gardaland

It has been owned by Merlin Entertainments since October 2006 and recently announced that it has partnered with Sony Entertainment to open the world’s first Jumanji-themed ride. This family-friendly dark ride is set to open in 2022.

Opening for the 2022 season, the family-friendly dark ride will take guests on a journey through the jungle, encountering a variety of pitfalls, surprises, and dangers. Speaking about the agreement with Sony, Gardaland’s CEO Vigevani says it is proof of the company’s winning path to partnering with global brands: “Synonymous with adventure, fantasy, fun, action, play, and imagination, ‘Jumanji’ blends seamlessly with Gardaland’s founding values.”

The power of amusement experiences

On the new partnership with Futura Form, Sayin says:

“By joining with such prestigious companies as Gardaland and Merlin, we can offer advancements in technology and other offerings that will help push all of our businesses to higher standards. At Polin Group, we believe in the power of the amusement experience and the value it adds to communities around the world.”

Polin Group is a global family of brands providing industry-leading amusement products and services. As a single-source supplier, it offers a wide range of products and services, from wildlife and rides to full design and management packages.
