Future highlights at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
- HKDL is positioning itself as ‘Asia’s Marvel epicentre’ with the opening of a new experience featuring Ant-Man, The Wasp* and S.H.I.E.L.D. in Tomorrowland. This hopes to build on the success of the Iron Man Experience which is the park’s most popular attraction.
- An all-new, immersive Frozen-themed area will feature the characters and stories from the film ‘in amazing ways’.
- The park’s iconic castle will also undergo a transformation to celebrate all of the Disney Princesses. It will also be the focus of a new daytime show and nighttime spectacular.
This latest expansion follows in the footsteps of a number of major new offerings including ‘Mickey and the Wondrous Book,’ which opened in celebration of HKDL’s 10th anniversary in 2015, and last year’s ‘Star Wars: Tomorrowland Takeover’.
In April, the resort unveiled its exploration-themed hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge – a unique offering for Hong Kong’s resort and tourism industry.
