Porsche has opened a new $60 million Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles.

The 53-acre complex which seeks to fuse German Engineering and the Californian Lifestyle, includes a 4.1 mile driver development track, a race car exhibition and restaurant and is also home to the new home of Porsche Motorsport North America.

Porsche logoPorsche already has a $100 million Experience Center which opened in Atlanta in 2015 and welcomed 36, 000 visitors in its first year of business.

Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, said, “This is a significant milestone for Porsche, as we further expand our presence in the United States.  Our decision to open a second Experience Center in North America underscores our commitment to the largest sports car market worldwide.”

California is Porsche’s fifth largest market, accounting for 23 percent of all Porsche vehicles sold in the United States. The company anticipates 50, 000 visitors will flock to the new high end attraction.
