Global online attractions ticket provider 365Tickets has a new chairman. Aaron Chatterley was appointed to the role on January 1.

Chatterley has been involved in online businesses since the original internet boom. In 1996, he set up award-winning web development company SP New Media. Nine years later, he founded feelunique, Europeā€™s largest online beauty retailer.

Having recently led a partial sale of the company and stepped aside as its CEO, he remains a shareholder and board member of feelunique, as well as an active investor in tech and disruptive businesses. In 2014, Chatterley was voted one of the 50 most powerful people in online retail by Retail Week.

And now he’s pleased to bring his experience to 365Tickets. ā€œHaving looked under the hood of the business, there’s some exceptional USPs, industry experience and an accomplished, highly-regarded reputation for global ticket distribution,ā€ says Chatterley. ā€œWith an attractions industry primed for growth, I’m truly excited to part of the board, supporting the executive in Jersey and 365Tickets internationally.ā€

ā€œI recently heard Aaron as a guest speaker at an event for global e-commerce businesses,ā€ says 365Tickets managing director Tim De Gruchy. ā€œDemonstrating his ‘hands-on’ experience and highlighting key milestones for growth resonated completely. It’s a fantastic time for Aaron to come onboard.ā€

Strong industry relationships

365Tickets was established as an online ticket distribution platform in the Channel Island of Jersey back in 1997. Today it holds some of the strongest relationships with operators in the attraction and activities industries, including the likes of Walt Disney, Merlin Entertainments, Historic Royal Palaces, the Empire State Building, PortAventura, Puy du Fou and many more. With offices in 14 countries, 365Tickets offers a quick and secure online booking experience in the local language and currency.

In the coming weeks, the company will launching its new 365Tickets Management Service Provider (MSP) to further support its loyal customers and suppliers. As it continues in growth mode, Chatterley is expected to help guide this and other updates to the 365Tickets network.
