Aardman Animations and Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, have revealed plans to open ‘Shaun the Sheep’s Farm Garden’ at the English Garden Rosa & Berry in Tawada, Japan.
Opening in April 2019, the English garden themed attraction will include a new facility where children and adults can see, learn and eat in Shaun’s world.
Shaun the Sheep’s Farm Garden will include life-sized versions of the Farmer’s House, where guests can go inside and explore as well as the Sheep’s Barn which will be a dedicated space for learning and games.
There is also a Café where guests can sample British cuisine and includes a multipurpose facility for hosting events and exhibitions.

“Set in the stunning countryside around Tawada, the English Garden provides the perfect setting for visitors to have a truly immersive experience, stepping into the world of Shaun the Sheep and visiting the Farmer’s house and the Flock’s barn. And in the exhibition space they’ll have the opportunity to explore how the show is made in more detail with lots of behind the scenes exhibits.”
The English Garden Rosa & Berry is a tourist complex operated by Merry Days Co. Ltd that includes the English Garden, restaurants and cafes, a Barbeque area, workshop facilities, a sheep farm and gift shops.
Shaun the Sheep is a global success. In Japan, Aardman has five indoor FECs and two themed cafes already opened. On the other side of the world in Europe, Shaun has his own land at Sweden’s Skånes Djurpark and stars in Aardman’s Grand Experience at Lands End, Cornwall.
