Aardman has announced its latest partnership with Sally Dark Rides. The animation studio is debuting two new concepts for Aardman-themed dark rides at IAAPA Expo Europe 2019.
The first concept is called Adventure Through Time, which features a new Aardman intellectual property (IP), as well as a magical and exhilarating original storyline with a mischievous heroine.
The heroine discovers a mysterious finger trap hidden in a dusty corner of a museum, before journeying through the ancient worlds of Egyptian Pharaohs, the pirate-infested East China Sea of the 1800s, and the Cretaceous Period.
The second concept is based on the upcoming Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, the iconic animal’s next adventure.

The new Sally Dark Ride will be space-themed, as per the film, which sees an alien called Lu-La landing on Mossy Bottom Farm.
Guests will join Shaun for an intergalactic adventure as he takes on a mission to help Lu-La find her way home.
Ngaio Harding-Hill, Head of Attractions & Live Experiences at Aardman, said: “Introducing our newest IP gives us the exciting opportunity to reveal the endless potential Aardman offers to attraction partners.
“From our multi-award winning, world famous characters such as Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit, to brand new IP and concepts featuring Nick Parks’ very own characters, the opportunities to create unique and creative dark ride experiences in collaboration with Sally Dark Rides are limitless.”
