accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider, has appointed Fern MacDonald as its new Chief Financial Officer.

accesso Technology Group PLC is pleased to announce that it has appointed Fern MacDonald as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). MacDonald is already a member of the accesso team where she has been in the role of Senior Vice President of Finance since May 2018. She will also be joining the Board of accesso.

A finance professional

MacDonald has over 20 years of international accounting and finance experience, in addition to her knowledge of the accesso business. The Board is confident that, combined with her domain expertise, this makes her the right choice for the role. MacDonald is also FCA and CPA qualified.

Her previous roles include eight years with a global provider of workforce management solutions, ZeroChaos (now Workforce Logiq). Here she served in various financial leadership roles, rising to the position of Executive Vice President, Finance.

Prior to this, MacDonald worked for Ernst & Young, where she served clients from the company’s Dublin and Moscow offices in her role as a senior manager.

“The Board is delighted to have appointed Fern to the role of CFO,” says Steve Brown, CEO of accesso. “She is a highly regarded professional who has made a major impact on our accounting and financial reporting since she joined accesso in 2018, and I have no doubt she will play a key role as we work to steer our business through the current environment.

“Beyond the immediate challenge, I look forward to partnering with Fern for the long-term, building our business for sustainable, profitable success”.

Earlier this year, accesso also announced that it has been chosen by ITV Broadcast to provide ticketing and distribution solutions for its Daytime Studios Tour and Coronation Street The Tour, as well as its new Manchester attraction.
