accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider, has entered into a strategic agreement with Floriade Expo 2022 Amsterdam.
accesso has been chosen to provide ticketing and distribution solutions for Floriade Expo 2020 in Almere, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The company will be implementing its accesso Passport system, as well as introducing ticket distribution technology to connect the event with customers around the globe.

Showcasing innovation

Floriade is an accredited International Horticultural Expo which happens every 10 years in the Netherlands. The 2022 event will be the seventh instalment and will explore the concept of Growing Green Cities.
Around 2 million guests are expected to attend Floriade Expo when it takes place from 14 April to 9 October 2022. And from this summer, guests have been able to visit the onsite Preview Centre for a preview of the event, enjoying a boat ride from the city centre and a train tour of the site, which is currently under construction.
Frictionless solutions
accesso will be providing its cloud-based, fully-hosted accesso Passport ticketing suite, meaning that event organisers will benefit from the ability to seamlessly manage transactions and build customer loyalty.
The Passport solution features intuitive membership tools as well as opportunities for simple up-selling, cross-selling and quick-selling, helping to drive revenue.
Furthermore, the company’s ticket distribution platform will allow Floriade to tap into a large network of global online distributors in order to increase ticket sales around the world, all with a single API connection.
Earlier this year, accesso partnered with Parc Astérix to deliver a 100% virtual queuing solution, helping the park to keep guests safe following the pandemic.
