accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider, has been chosen by ITV Broadcast to provide ticketing and distribution solutions for its Daytime Studios Tour and Coronation Street The Tour, as well as its new Manchester Attraction.

accesso is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic agreement with ITV Broadcast (Gaming, Licencing & Merchandise), in order to provide its Passport ticketing suite for ITV’s interactive experiences and tours. The ticketing distribution technology will connect the company with a global network of potential customers.

ITV Broadcast will use the cloud-based, fully-hosted ticketing suite for both its Daytime Studios Tour and Coronation Street The Tour. It will also implement Passport for a new attraction in Manchester.

Passport ticketing solution

Thanks to accesso’s technology, the company will be able to easily manage its transactions, as well as benefiting from intuitive membership tools that help to build customer loyalty. It also features a range of up-sell, cross-sell and quick-sell prompts, which connects guests with new experiences as well as driving revenue.

ITV Broadcast will also be able to connect with an expanding network of global online distributors, meaning it will have access to millions of potential guests and a whole new audience, with a single API connection.

“In Accesso, we’ve found an essential platform for our ticketing and distribution operations, which are crucial to both our company’s success and the full satisfaction of our valued guests,” says James Penfold, ITV Controller of Partnerships. “With their worldwide client base and team’s dedication to client services, we are incredibly excited for all the benefits this partnership promises.”

Exploring TV worlds

ITV programmes are watched by viewers all over the world, and in 2019 the channel produced more than 8,500 hours of television programmes. The interactive experiences provided by ITV Broadcast allow fans to immersive themselves in the worlds of much-loved shows, as well as finding out what goes on behind the scenes.

Coming soon is a new attraction based on the family-favourite TV show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” Tickets for “I’m a Celebrity…Jungle Challenge” will be on sale in the spring, which meant that the company was in search of a robust ticketing system to simplify operations, maximize eCommerce sales and open new sales channels to reach potential guests.

“ITV Broadcast is an industry icon that brings its guests’ dreams to life each and every day, both through its rich programming and unique behind-the-scenes experiences,” says Steve Brown, accesso CEO. “We are proud to partner with such a forward-thinking company, helping open doors to even more passionate fans and supporting ITV’s continued dedication to excellence in entertainment.”

At the end of 2019, accesso also announced that it has partnered with Technovation, a global tech education nonprofit that empowers children and adults.
