Leading technology solutions provider to the leisure industry, accesso, has signed a three-year deal with  Village Roadshow Theme Parks to provide its LoQueue virtual queuing solution at Wet’n’Wild Sydney.

Nine attractions at the Australian waterpark will utilise accesso’s patented QbandSM system.

“The Qband has been very popular at our Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas park and now guests at our Sydney park will be able to get more out of their visit, spending less time in line and more time enjoying our world-class attractions, ” reports Dianne Rigg, General Manager at Wet’n’Wild Sydney.

QbandSM is accesso’s innovative waterproof RFID wristband that allows guests to save their place in the queue for their chosen attractions virtually, using touchscreen kiosks. The wristband then notifies them when it’s getting close to their turn via a countdown.

Positioned as the world’s biggest ‘n’ best water theme park, Wet’n’Wild Sydney features over 40 slides and attractions.

Steve Brown, CEO of accesso, said the company was thrilled to extend their partnership with Village Roadshow and increase their reach in Australia.

“This agreement reinforces Village Roadshow’s trust in our solution and the opportunity we have to make a sizeable impact on their guest experience, ” he added.

Over 1, 000 attractions and venues worldwide rely on accesso technology including major industry players such as Six Flags Entertainment, Cedar Fair Entertainment, Merlin Entertainments, International Speedway Corporation, Palace Entertainment, Compagnie des Alpes and Herschend Family Entertainment.
