Pro surfers from the US joined top German and Swedish surfers at this year’s International Indoor Surfing Championships at the Himlabadet Surfstream® indoor wave in Sundsvall, Sweden on February 18th and 19th.

European champion Gerry Schlegel claimed top position in the Open Division.
Lauren McLean Holland, East Coast Women’s Surfing Champion, won the Women’s Division and finished 7th in the Open Division.
Significantly, young local talent made a strong show in the competition this year with some new manoeuvres that showed off their local advantage. The Junior champion Odd Persson also made it through to the Open Division semi-finals and is one to watch.
