AREA15 is transforming its outdoor event space for a weird and wonderful holiday experience at Wanderland, opening on November 27.

AREA15‘s outdoor event space, A-Lot, will become Wanderland through January 3. It will boast a 30-foot intergalactic art sleigh, Balanceville, illuminated in hundreds of festive lights.

Other features include an illuminated tree-lined village brimming with extraterrestrial surprises, and a festive path of igloos with holiday vignettes.

There will also be pop-up retailers such as Kappa Toys and Wild Muse Boutique, as well as sweets by Emack & Bolio’s, and open fire pits throughout A-Lot.

The ticketed experience culminates in a holiday photo opportunity within Henry Chang’s kinetic art car, Mister Fusion.

AREA15’s pop-up village of private igloos will serve winter cocktails and al-fresco dining with a special holiday menu from The Beast by Todd English.

Tickets include access to the igloo stroll, a printed and digital photo from the art car sleigh, and a cup of hot chocolate from Emack + Bolio’s.

In addition, AREA15’s indoor 360-degree projection-mapped room The Portal will feature a light and sound exhibition called Holiday 360: The Dream Before.

AREA15 previously unveiled the dazzling drinks experience of Gallerie 360, an immersive space where audio and visual experiences collide, located within The Portal.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys will be collected from Wanderland as part of the 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Toy Drive, from December 3 through December 14.

Instead of a traditional tree lighting, AREA15 is kicking off the holiday season with words from CEO Winston Fisher, followed by the lighting of Balanceville, on November 27.

AREA15 recently announced that Wink World: Portals Into The Infinite will feature the Aliume 3D Psychedelic Art Gallery upon opening in November.

Meanwhile, Meow Wolf has shared more details, as well as sneak-peek images and footage, about the mind-bending and thought-provoking experience at Omega Mart.
